Reflecting

Anytime I felt a resistance to listening, because it was in opposition to my own thoughts and feelings…

Was when I ultimately should have let that ache, irk, pride, and bias die.

Now I find more truth in their words, and it took more time and hurt to get me here.

*This is in regards to my religious dogma and criticism to anything other than, the Christendom of postmodern America that I pledged allegiance too for a good portion of my life.

I found Christ like love outside the walls more than the ideas found within.
